Register an agent

Registration creates a record in Egma. Your voice agent continues to run on its existing platform. The next step depends on whether you want to test it, monitor it, or both.

Open Agents in your project and select Connect an agent.
For this example, choose Run simulations, then select Continue.
Select LiveKit, then select Continue.
Choose Voice, then select Continue.
Select Project credentials. Enter your LiveKit agent name, WebSocket URL, API key, and API secret. The agent name must match your worker’s dispatch name.
Select Continue to testing and follow the SDK setup instructions. Return to Agents to find your agent.

First, install the CLI and sign in, then initialize your project.Register your agent with a name and platform:

egma agent register --platform livekit --name "Appointment assistant"

Keep the Egma agent ID printed by the command. You will use it to add a connection or set up monitoring. This ID is separate from your LiveKit worker’s dispatch name.CLI registration creates the agent record. Add a connection to run simulations, or set up monitoring.
